SEMINAR # 11 "Master Teaching, Master Learning" - has been synthesized from several existing seminars:   #1 "Involving Parents in Educating Their Children:  The Child's Primary Teacher!",  #2 "Discipline & Teachers at Risk", #3 "The Confidence Crisis - Building Self-esteem", #4 "Character Education & Bullying", #5 Excellence in Teaching/Learning:  Engagement!",  #6 "Student Directed Learning" and #9 "Genuine Leadership".  Underpinning the new program is a discussion of the "5 Basic Needs of All Children" followed by an in-depth sensitivity training piece.  The foundational premise of this program is that far better cognition happens through affect or, the way to a child's brain is through his/her heart! The vision for this program:  Participants will learn myriad life parameters that affect student learning and thereby produce for them,  more parental participation, better attendance, fewer disciplinary problems, higher self-esteem, greater appreciation of diverse cultures through grounded character development, higher standardized test scores, self-actualization and a verve for life-long learning.
