HISTORY OF NENI

bulletWho We Are:

NENI (pronounced nen-ee) was co-founded in April 2005 in Edison, New Jersey by a retired principal and an educational grant writer. We wanted to be able to provide youth, educators, community leaders, parents and business owners with seminars and other business services at no cost (or at a reduced cost) with the help of grant funding.

Simply stated, we are targeting donors and grants that will enable us to provide services to at-risk populations at no cost to districts / schools.
bulletWe are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization according to our IRS letter of determination (dated December 20, 2005).

MORE ABOUT NENI:
bulletNENI will operate most of its own grant programs. We will not fund proposals. However we will consider grant partnerships and /or collaborations. We have found that the most effective way for us to leverage our resources is to structure and operate our own projects in cooperation with our partners instead of working as a traditional grantmaking organization.
